Peace Officers International is an NGO that started in 1995 when we began taking groups of Police Officers from the United States to give professional police training classes to the police in Latin America.
We do not charge for this training and all of the police officers who work with us are volunteers.
Our headquarters are in Monument, Colorado USA. Over 150,000 police officers have been trained by Peace Officers International in over 20 countries around the world.

We recognize that the police have a great responsibility before society. Police work is difficult and officers often face complicated and dangerous situations.
The suicide and divorce rate among police in the United States and other countries is higher than in any other profession. This is an indication of the high degree of stress and the toll it takes on the men and women who wear this uniform.
As a result of this great need, our organization offers professional training in many areas that officers need support. The instructors are active and retired police officers with many years of experience and expertise in police training. All the training is free of charge.
We also offer classes to assist police officers in the moral and ethical situations they may encounter on the job. We provide them with tools to help them better handle stress and be successful.
